Kennewick boy, 16, arrested in child porn case

A child porn investigation in Washington and California led to the arrest Wednesday of a 16-year-old Kennewick boy.

The boy has been booked into the Benton-Franklin Juvenile Justice Center on suspicion of possession and distribution of child pornography, as well as exploitation of a minor.

Police do not suspect any local victims in the case.

Benton County prosecutors will review the case to determine what charges to file.
