SUV stolen from Kennewick woman in labor
A Kennewick woman’s sport utility vehicle has been recovered after it was stolen while she was in labor.
The woman started the Chrysler Pacifica to warm it up at 1:30 a.m. Sunday for the drive to the hospital from the Seville Apartments at 425 S. Olympia Street in Kennewick, according to a post on the Pasco Police Department’s Facebook page. She went inside to pick up some things, but the van was gone when she returned.
She was able to make it to the hospital and deliver the child, police said. And she found out that Pasco police found the minivan around 9:30 a.m. Sunday off Road 60 in Pasco.
Police are still looking for a suspect. Anyone with information is asked to call 509-545-3510.
