Car prowlers arrested in Kennewick

Two men have been arrested by Kennewick police for prowling cars in the parking lot of the Best Buy on Canal Drive.

Isaac M. Francis, 25, of Wenatchee, and Andres J. Garcia, 20, of Pasco, were booked into the Benton County jail after they were apprehended Tuesday afternoon, police said.

Officers determined that they had entered one vehicle in the parking lot.

Garcia is charged with car prowl and false reporting for lying about his name, police said. Francis is charged with car prowl and possession of drugs.

Their vehicle, a red 2014 Ford Focus, was impounded as evidence and the case is under investigation, police said. Additional charges are possible.
