Reward offered in unsolved Kennewick hit-and-run

Kennewick police released surveillance photos Tuesday of car believed to be involved in a hit-and-run that left a bicyclist injured.

The collision happened Oct. 4 as a man was riding his bike east on Clearwater Avenue near Huntington Street about 12:35 a.m.

The victim was hit from behind by a white sedan and suffered minor injuries. The crash left a 26-foot mark in the road.

Police have asked for the public’s help in identifying the car and driver. Tri-Cities Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward up to $1,000 for information leading to an arrest in the case.

The sedan is possibly an Acura with tinted windows and large taillights. There may still be damage to the front bumper.
