Motorcyclist hit by pickup on Highway 395 near Pasco
A motorcyclist was injured Saturday afternoon when a pickup crashed into him on Highway 395, six miles north of Pasco.
Roak D. Ten Eyck, 51, was taken to Kadlec Regional Medical Center in Richland for treatment, according to the Washington State Patrol.
The Umatilla, Ore., man was wearing a helmet when his 2005 Yamaha XVA was hit on 395 at Crestloch Road.
The 2010 Ford F-150 had been eastbound on Crestloch when its driver, Leroy P. Lee, pulled onto the highway and turned north on 395, the state patrol reported.
Lee, 72, of Kennewick, was cited for failing to yield in the 2:20 p.m. crash.
Lee was not injured. He was wearing a seat belt, the state patrol said.
