Swearing-in ceremony Oct. 16 for Superior Court’s new judge
Jackie Shea Brown will be sworn in as Benton-Franklin Superior Court’s newest judge on Oct. 16.
The 4 p.m. ceremony at the Benton County Justice Center is open to the public.
It will be held in Superior Court’s Courtroom B.
Shea Brown, 51, was appointed earlier this month by Gov. Jay Inslee to fill a newly created seventh position on the bench. She was a Richland family and criminal law attorney who’d been practicing in Washington state since 1994.
Shea Brown was one of five Tri-City lawyers to apply for the judgeship.
