Three people were hospitalized after a semi-truck hit a car Tuesday morning while taking the exit ramp off Highway 12 toward Lewis Street in Pasco.

The driver of the 2015 International, Rodney C. Williams, 42, of Ceres, Calif., failed to stop at the stop sign, according to the Washington State Patrol. The truck then collided with a 2007 Honda Fit, driven by Ismael Granados-Ramirez, 24, of Kennewick, who was headed north on Lewis Street.

Granados-Ramirez was taken to Lourdes Medical Center in Pasco, while his passenger, Maria G. Martinez-Lemus, 27, of Kennewick, was taken to Kadlec Regional Medical Center in Richland, the state patrol said.

Williams was not hurt, but his passenger, Cameron J. Wilson, 37, of Modesto, Calif., was taken to Lourdes, state patrol said.

The injuries were not life threatening, said officials at the scene. The cause of the collision remains under investigation.
