5-year-old Pasco girl injured in DUI crash
A woman allegedly under the influence crashed a Nissan Maxima over the weekend, injuring a 5-year-old girl.
Cisely M. Carter, 28, was driving west on Interstate 182 in Pasco when she lost control, drove off the road and rolled the car, according to the Washington State Patrol.
Troopers cited the Pasco woman for driving under the influence, reckless endangerment and driving with a suspended license.
The 5-year-old was taken to Trios Health in Kennewick, along with Carter, to be treated, troopers said. The girl’s name was not released because she is a juvenile, so her condition was not immediately available.
Hospital staff confirmed Carter was treated and released.
The Maxima was totaled, troopers said. Both Carter and the girl were wearing seat belts.
