Police looking for Kennewick sex offender

Kennewick police want the public’s help tracking down a sex offender who failed to show up for a court hearing.

Nathaniel David Moffitt, 32, is wanted for failing to appear on a warrant.

The Kennewick man previously was charged with second-degree child rape and failing to register as a sex offender, according to Tri-Cities Crime Stoppers.

Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward up to $1,000 for information leading to Moffitt’s arrest.

Moffitt is 6-foot-1, 240 pounds, with tattoos on both arms.
