Police arrested a Kansas man suspected of using counterfeit money at several Kennewick businesses.
Eric N. Presson, 19, was allegedly caught Monday in an Office Depot store with counterfeit money after employees called 911 to report a suspicious person, according to police.
Presson was carrying a suitcase, which investigators searched and found evidence related to the case, police said.
Presson apparently used fake $20 bills with identical serial numbers to buy items from at least five businesses, police said. Police were able to get a description of Presson on Monday after a business was given fake money.
