Tri-Cities SWAT Team raids houses in search of stolen guns

The Tri-City Regional SWAT team raided two houses in Kennewick and Pasco, recovering several high-powered rifles and handguns.

The searches Thursday came about a week after a break-in at a Kennewick home where 21 guns were stolen, police said.

The rifles and handguns were found at homes on West Deschutes Avenue in Kennewick and Sycamore Street in Pasco.

Several people have been identified as suspects in the case, though no arrests have been.

A number of the guns still are missing. Police ask anyone with information to call 509-586-TIPS or 800-586-TIPS.
