Pasco teen turns himself in over stabbing

A 17-year-old Pasco boy who allegedly stabbed a man during fight last week turned himself in to police Tuesday, authorities said.

The stabbing occurred around 11 p.m. March 18, at the Conoco gas station parking lot in the 1900 block of West Court Street.

George Rodriguez, 22, of Pasco, was stabbed in the abdomen during a confrontation between two groups, said Pasco police Capt. Jim Raymond.

The groups likely have gang ties, he said.

Rodriguez was treated at Lourdes Medical Center in Pasco.
