A 21-year-old Kennewick man is accused of hitting a woman with his car outside a June party in Pasco.

Jonathan Jimenez-Virrueta was arrested Monday on a $5,000 warrant for vehicular assault. Officials have been looking for Jimenez-Virrueta since he was charged in August.

He pleaded innocent to the charge on Tuesday, and his bail was set at $15,000.

Jimenez-Virrueta was allegedly at a party in the 8500 block of Dusty Maiden Drive in Pasco in the early hours of June 7. The neighborhood is on the northern edge of West Pasco.

A fight started between Jimenez-Virrueta and other party-goers about accusations that he attacked a woman, court documents said. He ran from the fight and to his car.

A 21-year-old woman was standing nearby recording the fight. The last thing she remembered was seeing the headlights of Jimenez-Virrueta’s car.

She was treated at Kadlec Regional Medical Center. Court documents don’t state how seriously she was hurt.

Investigators allegedly linked Jimenez-Virrueta’s social media posts with the party location, court documents said. He sent text messages about the fight that happened, saying that he “didn’t do anything” before six people tried to attack him.
