Tri-Cities man accused of breaking into ex's apartment with knife. 2 hurt
A Kennewick man is in jail after allegedly breaking into his ex-girlfriend’s house with a knife and attacking the woman and another man.
Kennewick police officers responded to a call about an assault in the Badger Canyon Apartments, 10251 Ridgeline Dr., around 2:20 a.m. on Sunday, according to a social media post from the department.
When officers arrived they found that Daniel Gannon, 35, had entered his ex-girlfriend’s apartment without permission armed a knife and attacked her and another man at the apartment.
It’s unclear how he got into the apartment.
Both victims were taken to a local hospital with injuries. Kennewick police did not say how serious their injuries were.
Officers found Gannon shortly after at his own residence and arrested him.
He is being held in the Benton County Jail on suspicion of first degree burglary domestic violence, aggravated second degree assault, aggravated second degree assault domestic violence and malicious mischief domestic violence.
His bail has not yet been set.
