5 party-goers wounded in shooting at large Pasco Halloween party
Five people were wounded early Sunday when gunfire erupted at a large Halloween party in west Pasco.
Pasco police have released no information about what happened, but initial emergency dispatch reports say the five partygoers were taken to Kadlec Regional Medical Center in Richland.
The seriousness of the wounds was not clear Monday but no deaths were reported.
Police responded about 12:30 a.m. to reports of gunfire on the 5500 block of Robert Wayne Drive, according to dispatch reports.
Officers found about 30 people still inside the house, along with three victims outside and two others inside. A man and a woman reportedly suffered chest wounds.
No suspects appear to have been booked into the Franklin County jail in connection with the shooting.
The house is in a relatively quiet neighborhood in central Pasco near Road 68 and Sandifur Parkway. The same neighborhood was the site of a devastating fire earlier this year when a barbecue fire spread to a home.
