Officers were called to the truck stop off Highway 395 at East Hillsboro Street about 7 a.m. for a report of an “assault with weapons,” Lt. Tom Groom told the Tri-City Herald.

They found someone wounded outside the store, and they died at the hospital, Groom said

“We do believe this it is an isolated incident,” he said. “We don’t believe there is a general threat to the community.”
