Family members report that they found a Richland teen who disappeared Monday morning.

Tayla Hopkins, 15, was found safe on Thursday after her father and mother turned to police and social media for help.

Her father Michael Guess spoke to the Tri-City Herald on Thursday about the search.

Tayla left her house on Easter Sunday but after her family spent all day looking for her, she turned up with a 17-year-old ex-boyfriend from the Tri-Cities, Guess said.

She returned home, went to bed but later left the house after using her sister’s phone to call the ex-boyfriend, said Guess.

He said he was particularly concerned because he believed they’d left the state. However, no other information was released later on where she was found.
