Richland police arrested two men after multiple shots were fired Tuesday night during a drive-by shooting in the Uptown Shopping center alley near Lee’s Tahitian.

Officers were dispatched to the report of gunfire at around 11 p.m..

Witnesses reported a vehicle pulled up, and a passenger fired multiple shots into the exterior of the building before fleeing, according to a news release.

No one was injured.

Officers recovered seven shell casings and found seven wall impacts at the scene, according to Richland Police social media post.

About 40 minutes later, the suspect vehicle was located nearby at the Circle K convenience store and gas station on George Washington Way.

Officers reportedly spotted a firearm inside the car and detained the two men in it.

One suspect, who had been previously arrested for a drive-by shooting, was allegedly illegally in possession of a gun.

The other had outstanding arrest warrants and had allegedly taken the vehicle without the owner’s permission.
