2 shootings in 2 days in Pasco leave 1 man wounded and cars damaged outside bar
Police are investigating two separate shootings that happened in Pasco over the weekend — one that left someone hurt, and the other that sent people fleeing from a parking lot.
One took place early Sunday morning outside Kahula’s Bar and Lounge and the second was early Monday at an undisclosed location.
Police have not said if shootings are connected or if anyone was arrested.
The first happened at 12:30 a.m. as officers were arriving at Kahlua’s to investigate the report of a fight. They heard gunshots coming from the east parking lot, then people and vehicles began fleeing the area, said Sgt. Travis Park.
Officers discovered several vehicles that had been damaged but it’s unclear if anyone was injured.
Later, Kennewick police officers stopped a car believed to be linked to the shooting about 2:20 a.m. Sunday at West 10th Avenue and South Olympia Street, according to a Facebook post.
The people inside were detained to help with Pasco’s investigation. It’s unclear if they were suspects or witnesses.
Then about 2:55 a.m. Monday, a man walked into Lourdes Medical Center on Fourth Avenue in Pasco with a gunshot wound.
Officers found where the shooting happened, identified a car connected to the crime and shared the information with other law enforcement agencies.
But no information has been made public about where it happened or the man’s condition.
Kennewick police found a car linked to the shooting at East Third Avenue and South Elm Street about 3:20 a.m., and the people inside were detained. The Herald could not immediately confirm that a suspect was arrested.
