Father of three who grew up in Tri-Cities killed when his semi truck flips in Idaho

A 37-year-old truck driver who grew up in Kennewick died in what his family calls a tragic accident.

Anthony Nalley was driving west in a 2022 Kenworth on Highway 58 when he lost control of the truck near the Idaho and Washington border on Oct. 7, according to Idaho State Police.

He drove off the side of the road and the truck flipped, said the release.

Emergency crews pulled him from the wreckage and flew him to Kootenai Health in Couer d’Alene but the father of three died at the hospital.

State Police have released no other information on the possible cause of the crash.

“Anthony was a very kind person that was loved by everyone he met and would help out anyone with no questions asked,” Alison Finley wrote about Nalley in a GoFundMe post. “He was a dedicated father and loving son and wonderful brother.”

While Nalley was living in Deer Park, north of Spokane, he grew up in Kennewick and has family in the Tri-Cities, according to Einan’s at Hillcrest - Kennewick.

The money from the GoFundMe is expected to cover Nalley’s burial expenses and for his children.
