Garage fire spreads to manufactured home near Columbia Center in Kennewick

Firefighters battled a blaze at a Kennewick manufactured home Wednesday.

Firefighters were called to the 9100 block of Yellowstone Avenue shortly before 5 p.m. When they arrived they discovered a garage attached to a manufactured home burning, according to dispatch reports.

The location is west of the Columbia Center mall in the Columbia Center Estates mobile home community off of North Steptoe Street.

The blaze had extended into the house, according to officials. There were no reports of injuries.

Officials reported that the fire was under control at 5:25 p.m., according to dispatch traffic.
