Franklin County detectives are continuing to investigate the suspected murder of a Basin City man found in front of his home on Sunday.

A person called 911 about 7:30 a.m. on Oct. 22 to report finding Huber Perez-Morales, 24, dead outside his home on the 200 block of Leon Drive, according to a release from the sheriff’s office.

No one had been arrested by Tuesday but investigators said they believe it was an isolated incident. No other details have been released.

Perez-Morales worked as a roofer for Roofing Specialty, according to public records.

His autopsy is scheduled for Friday morning in Cowlitz County, according to a release.

Basin City is a rural farming community east of Mesa with a population of about 1,200.
