A 40-year-old motorcycle rider died in a Wednesday night crash at a Kennewick Intersection.

Timothy McFarland was heading south on Vancouver Street at 11:20 p.m., when he hit a westbound Buick sedan on Seventh Avenue, Kennewick police said in a news release.

McFarland died at the scene. The people in the car were not hurt.
