Pasco neighborhood wakes up to gunshots and screaming. Police find a man wounded

Pasco police are investigating an early Wednesday shooting that left one man hurt.

Officers were called to the 6500 block of Enzian Falls Drive about 1 a.m. when someone reported hearing gunshots and a scream. According to dispatch reports, the person who fired the shots drove away.

They found a wounded man in the area, Pasco Sgt. Tom Groom told the Herald.

While the man told officers he had been shot, he provided few other details.

He was treated at a local hospital for an injury that was not life threatening.
