A swarm of police and FBI agents were seen converging on a Richland home on Wednesday morning.

It was part of a series of searches across the region by the FBI Southeastern Washington Safe Streets Task Force along with Tri-City police agencies, according to Seattle FBI field bureau officials.

No other details about the searches or arrests were made public.

Witnesses told the Herald that about a dozen officers were seen about 9 a.m. at a home on the 1100 block of Wright Avenue. Some officers were searching through a nearby snowbank.

Previously, the safe streets task force has targeted drug traffickers in the Tri-Cities.
