Police identify man who died in Kennewick shooting. Homicide investigation continues
Kennewick detectives are investigating the death of a man who was shot Wednesday night.
Paramedics were called to the 3700 block of West Fourth Avenue just after 10 p.m. for a man who had stopped breathing. The caller had started doing CPR, according to dispatch reports.
When crews arrived, they discovered a man in the house with a gunshot wound, said Sgt. Chris Littrell. He was rushed to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
And medics notified police who began investigating the shooting.
Kennewick police identified the man as 36-year-old Kennewick resident, Fernando Pulido.
According to reports, Pulido was unconscious when police arrived, Littrell said. The death is being investigated as a homicide, he said but no one has been arrested.
An autopsy is scheduled for Friday morning by the Spokane Medical Examiner’s Office.
