Pasco fire

Three hours later, a Pasco family was forced to run from their home about 1 a.m. Tuesday when they woke up to the smell of smoke, according to firefighters.

Family members discovered a fire in the garage on the 8100 block of Spieden Drive near the water heater.

They got safely outside and firefighters were able to douse the blaze, but not before it had spread into the house.
