A Washington State Patrol issued a statewide Silver Alert for him.

Myers has dementia and other health complications and needed his medication.

About 9:20 a.m. Wednesday, Richland police said Myers had been spotted by a citizen and her husband near a local grocery store.

They called 911 and kept an eye on him until Richland officers arrived.

Police Lt. Damon Jansen thanked the couple and said Myers was in good health and received medical care as a precaution.
