Intoxicated driver hurt in Highway 395 crash in Kennewick near the roundabout
An intoxicated driver ended up in the hospital after slamming into a cement barrier and guardrail on Highway 395 in Kennewick.
Francisco J. Avalos-Gonzalez, 24, of Pasco, was headed south past the roundabout on the highway shortly after 1 a.m. Wednesday when he lost control of his car, the Washington State Patrol said.
His Toyota Camry slammed into the cement barrier and the guardrail on either side of the road before stopping.
Avalos-Gonzalez was taken to Trios Southridge Hospital. His condition was not immediately available.
The state patrol cited Avalos-Gonzalez with DUI and second-degree negligent driving.
