A man died after being hit by a train while crossing tracks in Pasco near Ainsworth Avenue.
The man was on the tracks underneath the Ainsworth Avenue overpass shortly before 10:30 a.m. Sunday when an eastbound train struck him, according to dispatch reports. He died at the scene.
The man’s name has not been released. While officials know who the man was, they haven’t been able to find his family, Coroner Curtis McGary said.
No autopsy is planned.
