Bloody night in Kennewick. 3 wounded in 2 separate shootings

Three people were wounded overnight in two separate shootings Thursday night.

It started when Kennewick police found a wounded 27-year-old woman after getting called to the 600 block of North Tweedt Street at 8:45 p.m. Thursday, police said on Facebook.

The woman appeared to have been shot at least once and possibly stemmed from a domestic violence incident, said a news release.

She was taken to a local hospital but her condition was not immediately available.

The suspect was not in custody, police said.

Less than three hours later at 11:35 p.m., several people called 911 to report hearing gunfire Kennewick Avenue and South Morain Street.

Kennewick police found a 29-year-old man who had been shot several times. He was rushed to a hospital.

And while police were investigating, a 26-year-old man with a gunshot wound also showed up at an area hospital.

Police believe the men were connected to the same shooting.
