Suspect caught. Victim missing after Kennewick house party shooting

Police are looking for the man who was shot at during a Kennewick party early Friday.

Moises Silva, 23, of Pasco, is accused of opening fire inside a home on the 7900 block of West Fifth Avenue at 12:19 a.m. Friday, Kennewick police said.

Silva reportedly followed the other man outside and continued firing, but it’s unclear if the other man was wounded.

When officers arrived to investigate the reports of gunfire, both Silva and his target had left the area. Pasco police later found Silva and turned him over to Kennewick officers.

While police know who the victim is, they are not sure if he is injured.

Silva was booked into the Benton County jail on suspicion of two counts of second-degree assault.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Kennewick police using the non-emergency dispatch number at 509-628-0333.
