Kennewick car prowlers shoot at man who confronted them at 1 a.m.

A pair of car prowlers fired about eight shots at a man who confronted them early Thursday morning, according to Kennewick police.

Detectives are investigating the shooting on the 400 block of South Rainier Street at 1 a.m.

A resident reportedly spotted the group of four searching through vehicles in the neighborhood.

According to initial reports, two of the prowlers fired eight times at the man before running away.

The victim was not hurt.

Police are asking anyone with information about the shooting to contact Kennewick police through dispatch at 509-628-0333.
