Tri-Cities motorcyclist loses control on exit and hits highway sign

A Burbank man was going too fast on his motorcycle taking the exit from Interstate 182 to Highway 240.

Tyceon R. Moncrief, 29, was heading east on the interstate in Richland just after 9 p.m. Friday and started down the exit, the Washington State Patrol said.

He lost control of his Honda, went off the road and hit a Department of Transportation sign.

According to initial reports, he had cut to his foot.

He was treated at Kadlec Regional Medical Center in Richland.

WSP cited Moncrief for second-degree negligent driving, and for not having a motorcycle endorsement or insurance.
