2 Tri-Citians facing DUIs after holiday weekend crashes

Two Tri-Citians are facing drunk driving charges after two crashes over the holiday weekend.

The first happened just before 10:45 p.m. Friday night.

Jamie Locke, 53, of Pasco, was driving east on Sagemoor Road at Highway 395 when she hit a car heading west.

The Washington State Patrol said she then turned onto the highway and fled north.

She eventually pulled over in the Ford 250 pickup truck and tried running away but was caught nearby, said troopers. Locke was not hurt and is facing DUI and hit and run charges, said the WSP.

The driver of the Ford Focus, Erykah J. Skinner, 22, of Seattle, was injured and taken Lourdes Medical Center in Pasco. Both women were wearing seat belts.

The second wreck was at 1:20 a.m. Sunday on Interstate 82 near Kennewick.

Kyle L. Rossine, 24, was headed west on the highway when he drove off the roadway and his Ford Ranger pickup truck rolled, said the Washington State Patrol.

The wreck happened about three miles west of Kennewick.

Rossine was wearing a seat belt but was injured and taken to Kadlec Regional Medical Center in Richland.

The WSP said he will be cited for DUI.
