ATV driver faces DUI after highway rollover near Kahlotus, say troopers

A 48-year-old woman was driving under the influence when her all-terrain vehicle rolled on the highway near Kahlotus, according to troopers.

Jacqueline A. Duvall was northbound on Highway 261, six miles south of the rural Franklin County town, at the time of the 10 p.m. Saturday crash.

A Washington State Patrol report does not say what led up to Duvall rolling her 2008 Suzuki LT-A750, which came to rest in the southbound lane.

The cause is under investigation. The report says either drugs or alcohol were involved, and DUI charges are pending based on the findings of the investigation.

Duvall, who lives in Dixie, was not wearing a helmet in the rollover of her quadrunner.

She was taken to Kadlec Regional Medical Center in Richland.
