SWAT team arrests man in Richland for shooting at a teen, say police

A 24-year-old man is in jail for allegedly shooting at a teen during a drug deal gone bad, Kennewick police said.

Terro Cruz-Bell was one of several men who got into a fight Monday evening on the 600 block of South Perry Court in Kennewick, said police.

The fight ended shortly after 6:45 p.m. when he started chasing a teen and shooting at him, said police.

Nobody was hurt, but police were called when people in the neighborhood heard several gunfire.

Police tracked Cruz-Bell to the Orchard Hills Apartments on Leslie Road in Richland on Friday morning. SWAT team officers surrounded an apartment and arrested him.

He was booked into the Benton County jail on suspicion of first-degree assault.
