Masked robbers hold up Kennewick convenience store Easter morning
Kennewick police were looking Easter Sunday for two people who robbed the Circle K convenience store on Columbia Center Boulevard earlier that morning.
The suspects were wearing dark clothes and masks when they entered the store about 1:30 a.m., said a news release.
One of the suspects possibly had a weapon, police said.
They demanded cash and cigarettes from the clerk and then fled before police got there.
The clerk was not hurt, said police.
Richland police, Benton County sheriff’s deputies and Washington State Patrol troopers helped contain the area while a police dog searched, but no one was arrested.
Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to call the police department or non-emergency emergency dispatchers at 509-628-0333.
