65-year-old motorcyclist was drunk when he crashed, say Kennewick police

A 65-year-old man is in serious condition after losing control of his motorcycle Friday in Kennewick.

Police say he was drunk at the time.

The man, whose name was not released, was heading east around 4:30 p.m. on Fourth Avenue when he crashed near the intersection with Roosevelt Street, said Sgt. Jason Kiel.

A passerby stopped and started giving the man CPR until emergency crews arrived.

The man was taken to Trios Southridge Hospital.

Officers closed between Taft and Quay streets for about two hours while they investigated.
