Franklin County deputies are hunting for two people accused to trying to sell another man’s fence on Facebook.

After a buyer arranged to show up, Williams started loading the panels into a truck.

But a passerby messed up Williams’ scheme by calling the owner to ask if the fence was actually for sale.

After learning the fence wasn’t for sale, the witness called police, confronted Williams and made him unload the panels.
