Extremely ill 69-year-old woman found during police bust at Kennewick house

A 69-year-old woman is in the hospital after she was discovered in a home surrounded by people suspected of using drugs.

She was in “extremely poor health” and Kennewick police said they are investigating possible neglect charges.

It’s not clear why the woman was at 1711 W. 25th Ave. in Kennewick, but she needed to be taken to Trios Southridge Hospital on Thursday night, said police.

Detectives and officers were at the home as part of a ongoing narcotics investigation and because of calls from concerned neighbors. They arrested four people on Thursday.

Martin Olivera, 37, of Pasco, was arrested on a Department of Corrections warrant. He has a history of convictions in Benton County for possessing drugs and illegal gun possession dating to 2010.

Two other men, Jeremy Cronenwett, 45, of Finley, and Phonesavanh Phothisene, 35, of Pasco, refused to follow orders from the police, and were arrested for obstructing. Cronenwett is facing drug charges in Benton County.

And Tri-City Regional SWAT team members were called out to help arrested Kyle Crary, 29, of Richland, who was hiding in the attic, said police. He had four felony arrest warrants all related to cases from 2019.

The four were booked into the Benton County jail.
