Teen confronted by 3 armed robbers in Kennewick grocery store restroom

Police are hunting for three robbers who held up a teen in a Kennewick store bathroom.

The 15-year-old was on a walk when he stopped at Yoke’s Fresh Market to use the restroom around 4:30 p.m., said Kennewick police in a Facebook post.

Three young men followed him into the restroom, threatened him with a weapon and demanded items from him.

They then left the store parking lot at 27th Avenue and Olympia Street in a maroon car. The teen reported the robbery to employees.

Police are hoping to identify the three suspects from store surveillance video.

The suspect with the weapon wore a black hooded sweatshirt. Another wore a red sweatshirt and had dirty blond hair. The third had short dreadlocks and orange or red pants.

Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to call Kennewick police at 509-628-0333.
