3-car wreck in West Richland sends 8 to hospitals

Eight people were hurt when three vehicles collided at a busy West Richland intersection during the Tuesday evening rush hour.

Police were called to the crash at the intersection of Keene Road and Kennedy Road at 5:10 p.m., said West Richland police.

A caller to 911 reported that one of the drivers ran a red light.

Eight people were sent to local hospitals with unknown injuries. Their conditions were not available.

Police closed the road for about an hour to investigate.
