A Pasco man and his school-aged daughter were taken to Kadlec Regional Medical Center after a semi truck struck their car during a lane change near Prosser on Sunday evening.

Keith L. Warner Davie, 39, and Scarlett Warner, 9, were both treated and later released.

The Washington State Patrol said Warner was driving east on Interstate 82 when a semi attempting to change lanes hit his 2016 Honda Civic. The wreck happened about about three miles east of Prosser.

Driver Scott R. Newlin, 57, of Coolidge, Ariz., was not hurt. He was cited for improper lane use.
