Kennewick police hunting for man who shot at a fleeing car
Kennewick police are looking for a man who shot at a car several times on Sixth Avenue on Saturday afternoon.
A man in his 20s stepped out of a white car that had been heading west, Kennewick police said. Then he opened fire as the car sped away.
Police aren’t sure if anyone inside the car was hit. No other injuries have been reported.
The shooter then ran to Layton Park, where he got into a black four-door car with custom rims and drove away.
The suspect was described as wearing a gray shirt with dark sleeves. He has black bushy hair and an average build.
Police are urging anyone with information to call 509-628-0333 or Tri-Cities Crime Stoppers at 509-586-8477. Crime Stoppers offers up to $1,000 for information leading to an arrest.
