Police have identified a woman who may have used a phone to spy on another woman in a grocery store restroom.

The victim was in the restroom at 3 p.m. July 21 at Kennewick’s WinCo Foods when she noticed someone holding a cellphone, said Kennewick police Sgt. Aaron Clem. She confronted the woman, who was escorted out of the store by an employee.

The suspect said she did not have a phone, but the employee later found one in a restroom stall. It did not have a recording from the bathroom on it.

Police thanked tipsters who called in on their Facebook.
