Pasco police found a badly damaged Lexus and empty Modelo beer cans early Sunday morning.

But there was no driver at the crashed car when police arrived around 5 a.m.

The Lexus sped through the intersection of Ainsworth and Oregon avenues, likely going more than 60 mph, based on evidence at the scene, said Sgt. Brad Gregory.

The car hit a decorative boulder in the grass at 1110 Osprey Pointe Ave., according to police reports. South Oregon Avenue becomes Osprey Point Avenue near the Port of Pasco building.

The car rolled, damaging its roof, front end and back end.

No one was in custody at 1 p.m. Sunday. But police were looking for a suspect, who was not the owner of the car.
