Lights out in Richland. What happened?
A Wednesday night car crash in a Meadow Springs neighborhood sent a driver to the hospital and knocked out power in the area.
The car hit an electrical equipment box and a tree at Bellerive Drive and Meadows Drive East about 7:30 p.m.
City officials said about 140 customers were without electricity for about two hours as city electrical crews repaired the damage.
The Richland Police Department said the driver was taken to Kadlec Regional Medical Center with minor injuries.
