Unlocked car. Loaded gun. Another theft in Kennewick

Another week, another stolen gun from an unlocked car.

Kennewick police say a 9 mm Taurus pistol was stolen Monday from an unlocked car parked close to Clearwater Avenue and Highway 395.

Police didn’t release any other details.

It’s at least the third gun stolen from an unlocked car this winter.

Brandon Disch, 24, was booked on suspicion of stealing a Gen 3 Glock pistol from a car during the weekend of Nov. 11.

Pasco police had a case last month of a pistol stolen from a car. It was the second time it’d happened to the gun owner.

Tri-City police continue to advise people to stop storing loaded guns — or any valuables — in unlocked vehicles.
