He stole the trailer. Then he used it to steal everything inside the home

A Prosser man stole a living room set, a refrigerator, a tractor and a trailer from a Benton City home.

The Benton County Sheriff’s Office said Joshua Stone, 36, loaded up the victim’s trailer with the stolen goods, then pulled it away with an SUV.

The victim was on vacation during the robbery.

A neighbor’s surveillance video showed a light-colored SUV pulling the victim’s trailer loaded with his property.

Stone left behind a stolen car.

The sheriff’s office didn’t elaborate on when the robbery happened.

Deputies tracked down Stone and learned the trailer was stored at a Richards Road home.

Investigators found the trailer, furniture and other items there. The tractor was at a Case Road home.
